Why there is a message box telling me to restart the software after I put the reg code?
Our software needs to restart to validate the registration information, If you start the software without popup the reg dialog, you got registered.

How can I convert the file type instead of splitting it?
Please use split mode of split by segment, specify the whole length of the video, you can convert the file instead of splitting it. Please note that the trial version will only copy 50% , so only full version can convert the whole movie.

Does this software support DivX(MPEG-4) file?
DivX is AVI file encoded in DivX codec, the software will support DivX automatically after you install the video codec.

Does this software can deal with MPEG-2 video, such SVCD and DVD?
Yes sure.

Why the video dimension can't be specified when split to WMV/ASF files
WMV/ASF format are specified by the Profile , once you select a special profile, the video dimension and other parameter such as bitrate can't be changed.

Does 1st Video Splitter handle none-indexed WMV file?
1st Video Splitter can auto build index to none-indexed WMV file before you start to convert/split wmv.
